  • 2 x 2.5" at front (in place of front fans)
  • 3 x 2.5" at bottom (in place of graphics card)

Low profile (half height) form factor, dual slot width GPU are supported. GPU up to 185mm in length will fit with 80x25mm case fans. Some options include:

  • ASUS GTX 1050 Ti Low Profile
  • ASUS GTX 1650 Low Profile
  • Gigabyte GTX 1030 Silent Low Profile
  • MSI GTX 1650 Low Profile
  • ZOTAC GTX 1650 Low Profile

Power Supply

External PSU support is standard. An external AC-DC power supply is connected to an internal plug-in DC-DC (DC-ATX) board. To determine power requirements, we recommend looking at real world power consumption reports for CPU and GPU. In general, 180-200W is suitable for high end 65W TDP CPU with a low profile GPU. Here are some options:

Plugin DC-ATX
  • G-Unique Arch Daemon (12V, 200W plus)
  • Mini-box.com PicoPSU 160-XT (12V, 160W/200W peak)
  • Mini-box.com PicoPSU 150-XT (12V, 150W)
  • J-Hack ONE2 Plugin 160 (12V, 160W)
  • HDPLEX 200W DC-ATX (16-24V, 200W)

The HDPLEX 200W DC-ATX is a tight fit with an 80x25 mm case fan. If you need more room, you may considering using an 80x15 mm fan, use only one case fan, or use no case fans. According to HDPLEX, if you have a fan providing direct airflow to the HDPLEX 200W DC-ATX, you may also remove the front heatsink (4.6mm). Also note that the HDPLEX 200W DC-ATX wiring is on the long side and requires more cable management than the 12V solutions above.

External AC-DC Power Adapters
  • Adapter Technology ATS200T-P120 (12V, 192W)
  • EDAC EA11703E-120 (12V, 150W)
  • EDAC EA10953C-120 (12V, 80W)
  • Dell 450-AHHE (19.5V, 240W)
  • Dell PA-9E (19.5V, 240W)
  • Dell PA-19 (19.5V, 230W)
  • Dell 450-AHDJ (19.5V, 180W)
  • Dell FA180MP111 (19.5V, 180W)
Supported Power Jacks
  • 4pin Power DIN (eg. Kycon KPJX-PM-4S)
  • HDPLEX 7.4/5.0 mm
  • 5.5/2.5 mm barrel
  • GX12

Note: Internal AC-DC power supplies are not officially supported. However, experienced users may mount an internal AC-DC PSU at the front of the chassis (in place of the front fans). The internal dimensions at the front of the case are (without fan mount): 200 x 46 x 86 mm. A power inlet may be mounted to a custom expansion slot bracket, or may be run outside using a pigtail connector. The GX12 connector may also be used as an AC inlet connector. G-Unique makes a custom internal PSU for the L5, but we have not tested it.
